DAYTON – The University of Dayton baseball team came up short against Miami (Ohio), dropping a home contest 14-4 in seven innings.
The RedHawks scored in the first inning, but Dyrenson Wouters responded with a two-RBI single down the right field line.
After Miami (Ohio) pulled ahead 4-2, Jason Bello hit a solo home run into left field.
The RedHawks scored 10 runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings, before Dayton scored its fourth run in the bottom of the seventh.
