DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team is heading to Fairfax, Va., today to play three Atlantic 10 contests at George Mason over the weekend. The Flyers and Patriots will play two Saturday beginning at 12 p.m. followed by a single game Sunday, also at 12 p.m. All games will be held at George Mason Softball Complex and admission is free.

SCOUTING GEORGE MASON
George Mason (14-15, 3-6 A-10) claimed a 5-3 win over James Madison on home on Wednesday after dropping three conference games at Saint Joseph's over the weekend. Tess Altevers Harris (.376) is one of three Patriots hitting above .300 and she has tallied a team-best 32 hits, 10 doubles, 22 RBI, 14 walks and 14 stolen bases. Abbey Lane (7-4) leads the GM pitching corps with a 3.02 ERA and 46 strikeouts over 83.1 innings pitched.

UD and GM closed out the 2025 regular season in Dayton last year as the Flyers took two wins over the Patriots on May 4 in a weather-shortened series.

UP NEXT
Dayton continues its nine-game road stretch with two midweek games next week. On Tuesday, Dayton will be at Ohio State for a single game at 2 p.m. followed by another single game matchup at Providence on Thursday at 2 p.m. The Flyers will then play a three-game conference set at against the Rams of Rhode Island April 3-4 in Kingston.
