DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's tennis team is taking on Youngstown State on Thursday, April 2 at 12 p.m.
This is a makeup match from January 25, which was cancelled due to inclement weather.
The Flyers are 13-6, winning six-straight matches, including last weekend's 4-0 wins over Fordham and Duquesne. Kyle McNally and Rishi Dore earned Atlantic 10 Player and Rookie of the Week for their 4-0 and 3-0 weekends. McNally leads the Flyers with a 20-4 singles record, going 13-1 in the dual season.
Youngstown State is 12-3 overall this season, defeating Cleveland State 5-2 last Friday. Oscar Gippet leads the Penguins with a 21-2 singles record. He is undefeated in the dual season with 11 wins. Matteo Ceradelli and Dominik Vonbank are 13-6 in doubles this season.
The Flyers are 9-3 all-time against Youngstown State and have won the last three matches. UD won 4-3 at Youngstown back in 2023.
UD will host Xavier at 4 p.m. on April 4 at the South Regency Tennis Center.
