Men’s Tennis Advances To Title Match With 4-1 Win Over Saint Joseph’s

Skigelstrand Clinched The Match At No. 3 Singles

LAKE NONA, Fla. – The University of Dayton men's tennis team took down the No. 2-seeded Saint Joseph's with a 4-1 win.

Dayton will head to the final match for the fifth consecutive year.

The Flyers earned the doubles point with hard-fought wins on the first and third courts, winning 7-5 and 6-4.

Mikkel Zinder picked up UD's first singles win, handling his opponent 6-0, 6-2. After Kyle McNally made a comeback win at 6-4, 7-5, Sturle Skigelstrand came out on top with a big 6-4, 7-5 win to clinch the match and send the Flyers to the title match.

Dayton will face the fifth-seeded Richmond on Saturday, April 25 at 10 a.m.
