DAYTON- University of Dayton track and field junior
Camryn Thompson has qualified for the NCAA East Region First Round. The Powell, Ohio, native will compete in the high jump on May 30, at the UK Outdoor Track & Field Complex in Lexington, Kentucky.
Thompson earned her spot at the NCAA East First Round with a record setting performance at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The junior cleared 1.76m to break the school record and finished second in the event, helping the Flyers secure their first ever A-10 Outdoor Track & Field Championship. Her personal best mark landed her in the Top 50 for the East Region. Thompson is the first Flyer in school history to qualify for the NCAA East Regional in High Jump.
