DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's soccer team fell at the hands of Kentucky, 5-0, Thursday night at Baujan Field.
The Wildcats jumped ahead early, scoring in the fifth minute of action, and never looked back.
UD created chances in the contest, taking 13 total shots including three on goal, but UK proved too much, totaling 20 shots with 11 on target. The Flyers finished the match with more corner kicks than the Wildcats, 9-6.

Avery Strohecker split duties in net, with Cannistraro making four saves and Strohecker two.
