DAYTON - The University of men's soccer team defeated visiting Detroit Mercy 5-1 Friday night at Baujan Field. Five different Flyers found the back of the net as senior
Cooper Lijewski scored what proved to be the game winner in the 17th minute.
Dayton improves to 2-1-0 on the season while Detroit Mercy is now 1-2-0 overall.

3 - sophomore Farouq Agundare fired off a match-high three shots including his first goal of the season in the ninth minute
GW - Lijewski's goal in the 17th minute was his first career game winner and his second goal of the season
