DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team welcomes Atlantic 10 rival Saint Louis to the friendly confines of Baujan Field on Thursday, Sept. 24 for a 7 p.m. match.

Dayton scored four second-half goals to roll to a 5-0 road victory at St. Bonaventure on Saturday night. UD got goals from four different players:

Laney Smith.
SCHORK EARNS NATIONAL RECOGNITION
Sophomore
Caroline Schork put together a fantastic performance in Saturday night's 5-0 win over St. Bonaventure. The defender served in three perfect passes to pick up the Flyers' first three-assist game since Diana Benigno accomplished the feat in 2024. Schork was named to Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week for her accomplishment
SCHREIBER'S FIRST CAREER GOAL
Senior
Eva Schreiber registered her first career goal in Dayton's 5-0 win over St. Bonaventure on Saturday night. Schreiber, who started her career at Saint Louis, played 4,682 minutes in her career before netting her first on a strike from the edge of the '18.
FIRE AWAY
Freshman forward
Reese Gallagher has had a strong start to her freshman campaign, scoring a pair of goals and adding a pair of assists to co-lead the Flyers in points scored with six.
Gallagher scored her second goal of the season against St. Bonaventure on Saturday night, and now ranks fourth on the team in both shots (14) and shots on goal (6).
SMITH HEATING UP
Junior forward
Laney Smith is heating up as conference play begins, scoring her second goal of the season against St. Bonaventure on Saturday.
Smith finished the match with four shots, including two on-goal, in 63 minutes of action. The Fort Thomas, Ky. native leads the team in shots (32) and SOG (11).
NEWLIN'S FIRST OF THE SEASON
Sophomore forward
Emery Newlin found the back of the net for the first time this season with her 87th minute strike on Saturday night. Newlin has made seven starts in UD's nine matches this season, averaging a career-high 45 minutes per game.
AGAINST THE BILLIKENS
Dayton and Saint Louis have long represented the top of the Atlantic 10 when it comes to women's soccer, with the all-time record between the two rivals tilted in slight favor of the Billikens, 13-11-5.
UD and SLU have played incredibly tight matches over the last three seasons, with the Flyers' win at Hermann Stadium a season ago snapping a 48-match home win streak for the Billikens. The two tied in the Gem City the last time they met at Baujan Field, with the score finishing in a 0-0 draw.

ALUMNAE NIGHT – CELEBRATING TWO FLYER CHAMPIONSHIPS
2026 marks two milestones for the UD women's soccer program, most notably it is the 30th anniversary of the first championship in program history.
It is also the 10th anniversary of the 2016 Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship, one of the most improbable titles in program history.
The Flyers will celebrate the two championship squads on Friday, Oct. 2 prior to their match against La Salle.
