In his junior season, Picard set new career bests in shutouts, save percentage and goals against average...He posted a 0.791 GAA, which ranked 28th in the nation and third in the Atlantic 10...His save percentage of .821 ranked 22nd in the nation and third in the A-10...Picard’s eight shutouts ranked second in the A-10...He was named A-10 Player of the Week after posting back-to-back shutouts against UW-Milwaukee and Wisconsin at the Wisconsin Soccer Classic...Selected to the Wisconsin Soccer Classic’s All-Tournament Team...Named Second Team All-Atlantic 10...Earned UD’s Defensive Player of the Year Award.

2009
As a sophomore, the keeper played in 13 games this season starting in each one, finishing the year with a 9-4 record, including six shutouts… logged 1,184:45 minutes in net  and  recorded 54 saves while only allowing 14 goals …  completed the year with a save percentage of .794 and a goals allowed average of 1.06 per game… ranked second in the Atlantic 10 in shutouts (6) and second in shutouts per game with a .46 average…. was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week after posting back-to-back shutouts against nationally renowned teams Charlotte (Oct. 30) and Saint Louis (Nov. 1)... also selected as a member of TopDrawerSoccer Men's College Team of the Week after those performances… named to the College Soccer News National Team … also named to the Atlantic 10 Second Team and  Third Team NSCAA Mid-Atlantic All-Region.

2008 
Had a stellar campaign in his debut season for the Flyers as their starting goalkeeper...earned his first start in UD's sixth game of the season after coming into preseason with an injury...proceeded to roll on a 10-game unbeaten streak and went on to start the final 17 games of the year...posted a 13-2-2 record with seven shutouts and a 0.97 GAA, which was fourth in the A-10 and is second best all-time in UD's single-season record book...his .809 save percentage was the second best in the Atlantic 10 and Top 50 in the NCAA...his 72 saves was good enough for sixth in the conference...made 43 saves in conference action, ranking him second in Atlantic 10-only games...posted three consecutive shutouts in conference play, recording a season-high eight saves in a 0-0 double overtime tie against nationally-ranked Charlotte (Oct. 17) and posted three saves to help the Flyers upset No. 15 Saint Louis 1-0 (Oct. 19)...was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week and selected to the College Soccer New National and Top Drawer Soccer Men's College Teams of the Week for his efforts...made seven saves in the 1-0 shutout of UMass in the Atlantic 10 Championship Final...named an All-Ohio goalkeeper by OSCAA...also collected Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors for Sept. 22 after posting two shutouts.

"Tyler was one of the top goalkeepers coming out of Colorado his senior year. He is transferring in from one of the best Division I programs in the country and should be able to contribute right away."

Four-year letter winner for the Regis Jesuit Raiders ... Earned first-team all-conference and second-team all-area as a junior and senior ... Rocky Mountain News honored him as one of the "Best of the Best" Top 5A?Goalkeepers ... Played club soccer for Real Colorado ... Also lettered in baseball.
