Biography

2013-14
Martie competed in the Oak Ridge Invite, IU Spring Meet, Occoquan Sprints, A-10 Championships, and the Dad Vail Regatta in the V8+ boat.  The squad advanced to the grand final at the A-10 Championships and came in fifth overall.  Martie received the Varsity Most Improved Award for the 2013-14 season.

2012-13
Martie raced in the 2V8+ boat at the Cardinal Oak Ridge Invite and the Indiana University Scrimmage.  She led the Flyers to a fifth place finish in the Petite Final of The Knecht Cup.  With Martie in the boat, Dayton’s 2V8+ boat finished fourth in the finals of the A-10 Championships and second at the Dad Vail Regatta.

2011-12
As a freshman, Martie participated in the Cardinal Oak Ridge Invite, the Marietta Regatta, Buffalo, The Knecht Cup, and the Dad Vail Regatta. At the A-10 Championships, her boat finished fourth in the Varsity 4+ B Final.

High School
Martie was Captain of her high school softball team. She was a 2011 All-District Honorable Mention and 2011 All-Ohio Capital Conference Second Team. She was a member of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society.

Personal
Allison is the daughter of Dennis and Vicky Martie. She has an older brother Dan. Allison is majoring in mechanical engineering.
