The University of Dayton women’s track and field team will hold its first instructional camp this coming summer.

Camp Director and Assistant Track and Field Coach Brandan Bettenhausen has announced the start of the camps for the summer of 2015.

"We're really excited to be putting on our first ever track and field camp here at the University of Dayton,” Bettenhausen stated. “Our goal is to provide the youth in our community and throughout the region with a unique camp experience that will be both educational and fun."

The camps will be held Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26. They will provide participants an opportunity to learn from the experienced staff at Dayton about the sport of track and field.

Sessions will be three hours long and cover a range of areas such as shot put, discus, hammer, javelin, distance, steeplechase, hurdles, and pole vault.
Fees are $50 per session and include personal instruction and a camp tee shirt. Coaches are invited to attend at no cost.

Details of what to bring and the registration form can be found at the link above.
