Q: Where will metal detectors be placed?
A: Metal detectors will be placed at all public and staff entrances.  

Q: Who must be screened by metal detectors?
A: Everyone entering the arena must be screened by metal detectors.

Q: What items should I put in the bin before walking through the metal detectors?
A: All bags and purses must be placed on the table for inspection. Most common items (cell phones, keys, wallet) do not need to be placed in the bin and can be brought through the metal detector.

Q: What if an alarm sounds when I am screened?
A: You will be directed to a secondary screening where security will use a hand-held wand. You will need to empty your pockets for this screening.

Q: If I use a wheelchair, scooter, or walker, do I still pass through the metal detectors?
A: You can enter the same doors, but skip the walk-through metal detectors and go straight to the secondary screening where security will use a hand-held wand. You will need to empty your pockets for this screening.

Q: Are pacemakers or other medical devices affected by the metal detector equipment?
A: Metal detectors are safe for most medical equipment and devices. Guests may request a wand screening if they prefer. You will need to empty your pockets for this screening.

Q: If I am an expectant mother, do I have to pass through the metal detectors?
A: The metal detectors are safe for expectant mothers. However, guests may request a wand screening if they prefer. You will need to empty your pockets for this screening.


PROHIBITED ITEMS:
Including, but not limited to; firearms, weapons of any kind, food and drink, strollers, signs larger than 8.5” x 11”, tripods, balloons, animals (with the exception of service animals), camera lenses longer than 8”, laser pointers, and noisemakers
