Job Responsibilities: Responsible for supervising and overseeing daily operations of the Office of Academic Services for Student-Athletes (OASSA) and coordinating the execution of academic support for all athletic programs. Serves as the OASSA liaison to Academic Affairs and Learning Initiatives (AALI) and Ryan C. Harris Learning Teaching Center (LTC) and the primary contact for athletics compliance, working in collaboration on academic certification including transfer evaluations. Additionally, works with men's and women's basketball and the men's soccer program as their academic coordinator.
Past Experience: Worked at Indiana State University for six years from 2000-2006 as the Assistant Academic Coordinator and worked with student-athletes from all teams during that timeframe.
Education: Bachelor of Arts in Criminology - Capital University - May 1998; Master of Arts in Educational Leadership - University of Dayton - May 2010
Personal: Played volleyball at Capital University
Other: Has served on the Leadership UD Development Team since 2008. Leadership UD is designed to cultivate a leadership mindset among University of Dayton employees. As a Development Team member, Flach’s responsibility is to assist in the curriculum and programming that takes place during sessions through the fall and spring semesters for a combination of UD faculty and staff.
