Kluesener began his collegiate career by competing in two varsity races for the Flyers. He recorded times of 16:41 at the Flyer 5K and 27:39 at the Pre-National’s 8K.
High School
Kluesener was a three-time captain at La Salle High School, the Greater Catholic League champions in cross country his sophomore year and two-time men’s track and field GCL champs, those titles coming in his junior and senior years...Captained La Salle cross country to a District and Regional Championship his senior season and track to a State Championship in his senior season...He was a Second Team All-GCL selection in both cross country and track his sophomore campaign...In his senior year, he was named to the First Team All-GCL cross country team and was also a Regional qualifier...He closed out his track career as a two-time First Team All-GCL honoree...He took sixth place at Regionals in the mile...Also ran a leg in the 4x800 team that captured GCL, District, Regional and State championships...In the classroom, he was Top 15 in his class with a 3.8 GPA...He was a member of National Honor Society and graduated with honors, in addition to logging more than 250 service hours.
