Finished the year as Dayton’s White Allen Most Valuable Player Award winner, and as a third round (42nd overall) pick of Club Deportivo Chivas USA in the Major League Soccer SuperDraft … dominated opposing defenses and led the UD offense that was ranked 14th nationally in scoring offense with an average of 1.95 goals per game… after suffering a minor injury, the midfielder played in 16 games, making 15 starts, while playing 1,317 minutes… was the team leader in shots (45), goals scored (9), and shots on goal with 19… also chipped in four assists to finish the year with a team high 22 points… scored two game-winning goals and was perfect on the season in penalty kicks … knocked in three goals for his first collegiate hat trick in a 4-0 defeat over Rhode Island (Oct. 9)…. In a 2-1 victory over Canisius (Oct. 4), the senior took three shots on goal, knocking in one goal in the 76th minute, and adding one helper to his impressive performance… was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week and a member of TopDrawerSoccer Men's College Team of the Week… earned First Team Atlantic 10 honors as well as being a 2009 TopDrawerSoccer.com Men's College Soccer Team of the Season Honorable Mention… a member of the First Team NSCAA Mid-Atlantic All-Region and selected to the OCSA All-Ohio First Team...he currently plays for the USL Rochester Rhinos.

A major offensive contributor, Kissi played in 21 games with five consecutive starts in the meat of the Atlantic 10 schedule...the speedster with a rocket shot was third on the team in scoring with 12 points on five goals and two assists...named to the UNCW Courtyard by Marriott Invitational All-Tournament Team after scoring a career-high two goals against Coastal Carolina (Sept. 14)...had two helpers, including the game-winning assist against SIU-Edwardsville (Sept. 26)...tallied the game-winning goal against Fordham (Oct. 24)...scored the Flyers' first goal of the Atlantic 10 Championship in quarterfinal 3-2 win against Rhode Island (Nov. 13)...selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Championship Team.
2007
In 15 games, Kissi started in 13 of them...finished the season with a goal and two points from the midfield...finished fifth on the team with 24 shots...started in his Flyer debut and recorded his first career goal against Sacramento State...enjoyed a strong performance at Belmont with three scoring chances...took at least one shot in every game but four.

Kissi is a tall, hard-nosed player who is committed into tackles and is solid technically. Showcases himself as an excellent competitor...attended Presbyterian Boy's Secondary School and was the Most Valuable Player of the high school team and team captain...attended two years of University of Ghana...competed with their club team as a starting midfielder.

Son of Samuel and Comfort Kissi and has a brother Stephen, and two sisters, Gloria and Henrietta...born May 14, 1987...majoring in general studies...hopes to someday help alleviate poverty in Africa.
