Schmitt helped the Flyers place in first at the Atlantic 10 Championship in the 2nd Novice 8.

Personal
Schmitt was a three-year varsity award winner and three-time pole vault relay record holder in high school. At UD, Schmitt is Majoring in Fine Arts.
