Coach Tucker's Take on Linsey: A gifted athlete who loves to attack the flanks, Linsey will create lots of scoring opportunities for UD. She has the ability to break down defenses with the dribble and attack goal, pinpoint crossing passes and defend relentlessly. Her speed and quickness are most welcome as we continue to become a more athletic and skillful team. Expect great things from Linsey this fall!

Prior to UD: Eckel was a two-time Offensive Player of the Year at Wakefield High School, where she led the team in scoring in 2007 and 2008...Led her squad to the North Carolina 4A State Playoffs her senior season...Named First Team all-conference after scoring 12 goals and tallying 10 assists for 34 points in 2008...Was a three-time member of the ODP Regional Camp in Alabama...Led CASL Spartan in scoring in 2006 and was fifth in Region III, helping the team to a NC State Cup Championship and a run to the National semifinals.
