2011: Saw action in one game for the Flyers.
Coach Tucker's Take on Melissa: "A fiery competitor, skillful and with strong club and high school background, Melissa will add depth to our defensive third. She will have a chance to train with some of the premier collegiate defenders and should quickly adapt to the college game."
Prior to UD: Was named Defender of the Year for Mt. Notre Dame High School...named Academic All-Southwest by the Ohio High School Soccer Coaches Association in 2009 and 2010...played for Hammer FC in the Midwest Regional League Premier Division and won the Regional League First Division Championship in 2009.
Personal: Daughter of Todd and Mary DeWitt...has an older sister Jessica who ran cross country and track & field for Miami University...born March 14, 1993...Major: Physical Therapy.
