2014-2015
During the indoor season, VanHook finished first in the 400m at the Buckeye Classic with a time of 1:01.46. She placed third in the 800m at the Akron Invite with a time of 2:17.65...For the outdoor season, ran the 400m, 800m, and the 4x800m...Finished seventh in the 400m with a time of 1:00.42 at Oliver Nikoloff (3/28)...Took fourth at the All-Ohio Championships (4/11) in the 800m with a time of 2:15.17...Contributed to a tenth place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championships (5/3) in the 4x800m with a time of 9:20.34.

2013-2014
Set a school record in the 600m at the Gladstein Invitational (1/25) with a time of 1:36.47 and third-place finish... Added another school record in the 4x800m relay at the Indiana Relays (2/1)... Set Top 5 all-time marks in the 4x400m relay and distance medley as well... Finished in first place at the Buckeye Classic (1/10) indoor meet with a time of 1:38.03 in the 600m dash... Took third with a time of 11:50.56 in the DMR at the Indiana Relays... Had Top 10 showings across five different events and six different meets... Competed in the 800m and both the 4x400m relay and the 4x800m relay outdoors... Posted a Top 5 all-time performance in the 4x400m relay at the All-Ohio Championships (4/12)... Took 18th in the 800m at the A-10 Championships (5/4)... Finished seventh at the Jesse Owens Classic (4/19) and Big Blue Classic (4/5) in the 4x400m relay.

2012-2013
Competed in the 400m dash, 600m dash, 800m dash, 4x800m relay, and distance medley indoors... Finished in third place in the 600m dash with a time of 1:40.05 at the Oiler Opener (12/7)... Took first place in the 800m run at the YSU College Invite (1/25) with a time of 2:19.10... Competed outdoor in the 400m dash at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational (3/29) and finished with a time of 58.98... Posted a time of 2:18.13 in the 800m run at the All-Ohio Championship (4/12)... Placed sixth in the 4x400m relay at the All-Ohio Invitational with a time of 3:58.43... Participated in the 4x800m relay at the Atlantic 10 Championship (5/4) with a time of 9:15.68.

2011-2012
Set her personal best in the 600m (1:40.63) at the Gladstein Invitational, the 800m (2:22.87) at the Akron Invitational and in the 1000m (3:14.25) at the Doug Raymond Invitational... Focused on the 800m in the outdoor season... Had her best outdoor time at the University of Cincinnati Oliver Nickoloff meet, posting a time of 2:23.37.

High School
Was an all-around athlete while attending Mason High School... Was a two year member of the varsity soccer team and spent four years on the varsity track team... Qualified for the state meet of Ohio four straight years and was a member of the relays that placed seventh in the 4x400 meter relay in 2008 and eighth in the 4x800 meter relay... Named to the GMC First Team in 2010 and the Second Team in 2008, 2009 and 2011... Graduated with a 4.76 GPA and was in the top 10 percent of her class... Was named to the Academic All-Ohio Team three times (2009-11)... Won the Gold Key in Scholastic Arts and Writing Competition in 2009.

Daughter of Michael and Michelle VanHook... Has two older sisters Megan and Lauren... Majoring in International Studies.
