2011-2012
Borchers relied on her experience in continuing her successful UD career. In the indoor season she was able to set a personal best in the weight throw at the Tom Wright Classic with a toss of 15.21m. She also had two third place performances at the Tom Wright Classic (12.78m) and Akron Invitational (13.18m). She placed seventh at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships with a throw of 13.27m. Outdoor was just as successful. She set a personal best in the discus throw at the All Ohio Championships with a toss of 44.73m placing 11th. She placed fifth at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships in the discus with a throw of 44.36m.

2010-2011
Borchers looked to capitalize on the experienced she gained in her freshman year and carry it into her sophomore season. She did not disappoint as she had a stellar indoor season. Borchers had a personal best in the weight throw at the Findlay Indoor Track and Field Classic. She threw the weight 15.12m. This was good enough for fifth place. She was also able to achieve a personal best in the shot put. At the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships she threw 13.72m to place fourth place overall. This proved essential for the Flyers to capture the team title.  Borchers also had a successful outdoor campaign as she would participate in the discus and shot put for Dayton. She set a new personal collegiate best in the discus at the Oliver Nickoloff Invitational. She recorded a toss of 42.59m which placed her fifth overall. At the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships Borchers would place seventh in the discus throw with a toss of 41.45m.

2009-2010
Borchers had a very successful freshman campaign as she was able to compete in the Atlantic 10 Championships in the discus throw. She placed eighth overall with a throw of 40.81m. She also held the 15th best Weight Throw toss in the conference with a length of 46-6 feet for Indoor Track and the 11th best toss for discus during Outdoor Track and 14th in the shot put in the conference. 

High School
Borchers, from Versailles High School, comes to UD as a standout discus and shot put thrower... As a junior, Borchers placed sixth at the state meet in the shot put and ninth in discus... Prior to that, she was regional champion in the shot put and earned First Team All-Conference honors... She comes from a reputable Versailles program which has won Division III regional’s three years in a row and placed third at the state meet in 2007... Her personal best in the discus event is 132-11.00 and her furthest throw in the shot put stands at 42-04.00... Another well-rounded competitor, Borchers lettered for two years on the Versailles volleyball and swim teams.
