2011-2012
Strickland only participated in the outdoor season in the pole vault. Strickland was a strong force for UD garnering valuable points at seemingly every meet. She was the runner up at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships (3.55m). She would then set a new personal best in the pole vault at the South Carolina Weems Baskin Invitational with a height of 3.65m.

2010-2011
Strickland proved vital to the field success of UD. She would finish in the top five in the pole vault at four different meets. She was able to help Dayton capture the Atlantic 10 indoor title with her fourth place finish in the pole vault at the championships. Strickland continued her success into the outdoor season as she tied her previous best of 3.55m (11’7.75”) at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships. This placed her in second earning her Second Team A-10 honors.  

2009-2010
Strickland continued her success in the vaults as she ended the indoor season with the seventh best height in the conference for the regular season. This was a height of 11-01 ¾ at the Akron Invite. This continued over to the outdoor season as she also posted the eighth-best height in the conference for the outdoor season. She received a chance to compete at the Atlantic 10 championships in the pole vault. She was able to place sixth in this event with a height of 11-09 ¾.

2008-2009
(INDOOR) Took tenth in the pole vault at the Findlay Oiler Open with a vault of 10-00.00... She also had a leap of 10-00.00 at the Kent State Invitational, good for ninth place...
(OUTDOOR) Did not compete in any meets throughout the season

2007-2008
(INDOOR) Finished fifth in the pole vault (10-04.00) at the Atlantic 10 Championship....Also took fifth at the DePauw Invite (10-00.00).
(OUTDOOR) Won silver in the pole vault at the Atlantic 10 Championship with a personal best 10-06.00...Vaulted 10-02.00 at the All-Ohio Championships, Miami Team Challenge, and Stan Lyons Invite.

High School
Lake Erie League Champion junior year...Three-time district and regional qualifier...State qualifier junior year...Pole vault record holder at Mentor High School...All-Ohio athlete.
