Samantha Selsky

Samantha Selsky is entering her first season as Director of Volleyball Operations for the Flyers after spending the previous four seasons as a member of the team.

The two-time Atlantic 10 Setter of the Year and AVCA All-American, Selsky finished her playing career at Dayton ranked seventh all-time in UD history with 2,468 assists. She led the A-10 in assists per set in back-to-back seasons, including ranking 16th nationally her senior year (2012) with 11.57 assists/set.

Selsky graduated from University of Dayton in the spring of 2013 with a degree in psychology. Her twin brother, Steve, played baseball at Arizona and was signed by the Reds organization in the summer of 2011 as a 33-round draft pick and is still currently active. Selsky's mother, Lou Ann, was a member of the 1973 Cal State Long Beach volleyball team that went undefeated to win the NCAA National Title while her father, Steve, played minor league baseball with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox organizations. Her sister Stesha was also a college volleyball player and holds the program record for career digs at Michigan.
