Jenna Willhoit serves as Assistant Director of Athletics Communication and has been with the Division of Athletics since March 2013. She currently serves as the primary contact for women's soccer, softball, men's golf and women's golf while also coordinating all internal efforts for DaytonFlyers.com. She has also previously covered women's basketball and volleyball for the Flyers.
She spent the previous six years at Xavier University, the last three as the associate sports information director serving as the primary contact for women's basketball and women's soccer as well as the website coordinator. Over her first three years at Xavier, Willhoit served as a sports information assistant covering several sports, including baseball, tennis, swimming and volleyball, as well as serving as the video coordinator. Additionally, she served as the host site media coordinator for the 2010 Women's Basketball NCAA Tournament First and Second Round games played at Cintas Center.
Prior to Xavier, Willhoit spent one year as a sports information assistant at Tennessee Tech University as the primary contact for women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, rifle and softball. She also served as the primary statistician for soccer, volleyball, men's and women's basketball and softball and was the official scorer for the 2007 Ohio Valley Conference Softball Tournament hosted by TTU.
In May, 2006 Willhoit graduated from University of Louisville with a master's degree in sport administration. During 2005-06 she served as an intern in UofL's sports information office. While at Louisville, she assisted with field hockey, men's soccer, women's basketball and softball game day operations and also served as the assistant men's tennis contact. Additionally, Willhoit served as a member of the media coordination team for the 2005 NCAA Division I Field Hockey National Championship and the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship, both of which were hosted by UofL.
Before relocating to Louisville, Willhoit graduated from University of Kentucky in December, 2003 with a bachelor's of arts degree in English and was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Originally from Cynthiana, Ky., she graduated from Harrison County High School in 1998 where she was a member of the soccer and track & field teams.
