Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the development and management of a portfolio of major gift prospects from across the nation with an interest in Dayton Athletics, connecting donors' passions and philanthropic interests with strategic initiatives and needs of the department. Duggan's primary duty is to secure major gifts that help provide transformational experiences for Flyer student-athletes
Past Experience: Duggan returns to Dayton after serving in various roles at the University of South Carolina and the Gamecock Club, including premium seating and events, annual giving, and major gifts. Prior to his time with the Gamecocks, Duggan served as the Assistant Athletics Director for Communication and Marketing and Assistant Baseball Coach at Wittenberg University, as well as Director of Baseball Operations for the Flyers as a graduate assistant from 2014-2015.
Education: South Suburban College, AA 2011; University of Dayton, BA, Communication 2013; University of Dayton, MA, Mass Communication 2015; Gonzaga University, MA, 2018 Athletic Administration.
Personal: Duggan lives in Oakwood with his wife Katie '14. They met at UD and had classes together in St. Joseph Hall, where the couple would later go on to get engaged in 2017.
A Chicago native, Duggan was starting catcher and captain for the Flyers' baseball program, including in 2012 when the Flyers won the A-10 Conference Tournament, advancing to the College Station Regional for the first time in school history.
