"Tonight we played like we are trying to play and in spurts we played very well on both ends of the floor. I thought there zone was going to be a problem for us because they make you take certain shots. Overall we need to execute better and although we made improvements, that is where we have to get better."

"Jennifer (Strong) was selective tonight and has been working very hard to understand what a good shot is and tonight she showed that understanding. She is beginning to make good decisions and play to her ability. I am very pleased with what she is doing."

"When we can get two or three kids show up on the same night, it is hard to stay with us."

What has led to the two-game winning streak?
"Our defense has gotten better. We are playing better defense than we did in the beginning of the year. We are a good team when we are selective with our shots and control our turnovers."
