BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - After their first win on foreign soil, the University of Dayton women's basketball team left the Czech Republic and headed east to the Slovakian capital of Bratislava Wednesday as part of its 10-day trek through Europe.
After a 72-60 victory Tuesday evening over BK Czech Coal in Strakonice, the Flyers spent a majority of the day heading through the Czech Republic and into the hometown of their guides, the Lokaj family.
UD will spend Thursday touring Bratislava Castle and the downtown of the Slovakian capital while staying at a newly opened Crowne Plaza located directly across the street from the Presidental Residence.
On Thursday evening, Dayton will play its third of five games on the trip when it takes on Hala BK Spartak Myjava, a team which finished ninth in the Slovak League last season.
