Head Coach Jim Jabir
"I thought we were pretty good defensively and handled the boards. I thought we had some good looks at the rim. I was pretty pleased with our composure offensively. We've been working hard on the defensive end but I was surprised that we played that well."

(About Kristin Daugherty) "She's a great player. We'll go as far as she takes us. She will have a lot of help but I'm really happy about how she played today. Patrice Lalor controls our team very well. I felt like our two young inside players struggled a little bit but they were respectable today. I really liked De'Sarae Chambers on the wing. I thought she played really well and was able to score."

Justine Raterman
"At first there were a lot of nerves but once you hit the floor all of that leaves and with the teammates that we have it makes it easy to settle down. There are a lot of things that I have to work on. My shot was a little off today but I think I have to keep being aggressive and stay with the pace of the game and keep working on all the little things in practice."

Ashley Brown
"I just try to do the best I can whenever I get into the game. I know as long as I keep working hard I'm going to be productive. We have a lot of hopes for this season. Coach Jabir keeps telling us that if we keep working hard we're going to have a very successful season."
