ISAAC KISSI NAMED TO TOP DRAWER SOCCER TEAM OF THE SEASON

DAYTON, Ohio - University of Dayton senior Isaac Kissi was named Honorable Mention to the 2009 TopDrawerSoccer.com Men's College Soccer Team of the Season.

Kissi, a target forward, scored a team-high nine goals for the Flyers which were ranked 15th in the nation in scoring offense with 1.95 goals per game. He also led UD to a 14-5-1 record, the 14 wins tied for second all-time at Dayton. The .725 winning percentage this season is the 20th best in the nation. UD also captured the Atlantic 10 Regular Season title.

The native of Brong-Ahafo, Ghana was named First Team All-Atlantic 10 this season after notching 22 points (despite missing four games with a dislocated shoulder). His 22 points were tied for third in the Atlantic 10, while his nine goals were good enough for fourth in the conference. He was ranked 27th in the country in goals per game (1.38).

Kissi was named A-10 Co-Player of the Week after notching his first collegiate hat trick in Dayton's 4-0 win over Rhode Island in its Atlantic 10 Conference opener. In addition to the A-10 accolades, Kissi was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Men's College Team of the Week for Oct. 11. The team is comprised of 11 players from Division I men's soccer who are recognized for their exceptional performances.

Kissi finished his three-year career at UD with 15 goals, 6 assists and 36 points.
