UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The University of Dayton women’s basketball team’s charter flight landed yesterday at State Park, Pa. and today the Flyers took part in media news conferences, talks with ESPN talent and practice to prepare for their NCAA First Round game against Penn State Saturday, March 19 at 11:10 a.m. on ESPN2.

Head Coach Jim Jabir, and captains Kristin Daugherty, Elle Queen and Justine Raterman took part in the media news conferences. Jabir and senior Ebony Gainey were interviewed by Justin Kutcher (play-by-play) and Brenda VanLengen (analyst) who will have the call on ESPN2 (DirecTV 209). Shane White will broadcast the game on 1660 Information Radio.

This is Dayton’s second consecutive NCAA appearance.
