HUNTINGTON, W. Va. – Senior Matt Buse fired rounds of 73 and an even-par 71 to lead the Dayton Flyers after the first two rounds of the Marshall Invitational.
Buse is tied for 20th among individuals after 36 holes of play.
Dayton as a team is in 12th after shooting team scores of 298 in round one and 289 in the second.
Senior Sean Keating and sophomore George Rhode III each carded a 74 in round one and a 72 in the second. Both Flyers are tied for 31st as well.
Sophomore Craig Purpus fired a 77 in round one and a 74 in the second. Senior Brenten Blakeman rounded out the scoring with back-to-back rounds of 78.
The third and final round will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 11 with an 8 a.m. ET start.
