CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's cross country team competed at E. King Cross Country Course for the second straight event and continued its dominance of the Cedarville course.
The Flyers took home first place as a team for the second time in as many races.  Dayton had an average time of 22:58.06, which beat out Bowling Green, Miami (OH), and Kent State.
Senior 
Nicole Cargill paced the Flyers, finishing second overall with a time of 22:26.21.  
Lizzie Gleason, the 2012 All-Ohio Champion, took home fourth place with a time of 22:34.54. Juniors 
Katie Ollier (22:58.35), 
Mary List (23:16.44), and 
Nicole Armstrong (23:34.76) finished 8
th, 13
th, and 17
th respectively.
Sophomore 
Olivia Albers posted a time of 23:36.43, while sophomore 
Mickey Ludlow finished in 24:15.55.
There were 50 women's teams that competed in the event on Friday, ranging from Division I to NAIA.
Dayton will look to continue its success in the next event, the NCAA Pre-Nationals on Oct. 19. That event will begin at 11:45 a.m. at the Lavern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Ind.
