FLYERS ARE NATIONALLY-RANKED FOR 13TH STRAIGHT WEEK

The University of Dayton women's basketball team remains ranked in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Poll for the 13th consecutive week.
 
The Flyers (21-1, 9-0 A-10) are currently atop the Atlantic 10 standings after wins over Xavier and Fordham last week. The victory over the Rams gave UD head Coach Jim Jabir the 400th win of his career, making him the 46th active coach to reach that milestone.
 
Dayton moved up a spot to No. 17 in the AP Top 25 Poll with 398 points.
 
UD remains at the No. 15 spot in the USA Today Coaches Poll for the third consecutive week with 374 points (29 more points than last week).
 
Dayton is the highest ranked non-BCS school in both polls. The Flyers are one of five teams with just one loss this season; the others are No. 1 Baylor, No. 2 Connecticut, No. 3 Notre Dame and No. 4 Duke.

The Flyers are currently ranked 15th in the nation in home-game winning streaks with 10 consecutive victories on Blackburn Court at UD Arena. Dayton women's basketball is also 43rd in the NCAA for average home attendance with 2,557 fans per game.

Dayton is off this week, and hosts Duquesne in a nationally-televised (CBS Sports Network), Atlantic 10 matchup against on Monday, Feb. 18 at 9 p.m. at UD Arena. The Dukes are currently second in the A-10 standings.
•    It will be Heart Health Awareness game and a Red Out with fans who wear red get admission for $1.
•    Free blood pressure screenings will be offered by UD a medical squad from 8-9 p.m. on the South concourse.
•    In addition, the American Heart Association will pass out brochures and information on heart health.
•    A Nook give-away will be held at halftime for members of RedScare with the winner determine by a game of knockout.
•    The first 700 fans will receive a Coach Jabir face stick.
