RICHMOND, Ky. – Senior Kelly Coakley is tied for 21st after the first two rounds of the 2013 Eastern Kentucky University Colonial Classic.
Coakley fired a 78 in round one and a 77 in the second. The 77 in round two matches Coakley’s season-low.
The Flyers shot a 320 in round one and a 309 team score in the second. UD is in a tie for eighth.
The low round of day one went to junior Erin Peavy. She carded a 75 in the second round after firing an 84 in the first. Peavy ended the day tied for 45th among individuals.
A pair of Flyers, freshman Mika Suntay and junior Grace Nikolai, each had a 161 total after day one. Suntay shot an 82 and a 79, while Nikolai added an 83 and 78.
Sophomore Lucy Frey had UD’s best score in round one with a 77. She added an 85 in round two.
Playing as individuals, freshman Jacki Berardi tallied rounds of 86 and 80, while junior Maggie Prokop recorded scores of 84 and 85.
