LINCOLN, Neb. - Despite turning it on in the second set, the University of Dayton volleyball team fell to No. 12 Nebraska 3-0 (20, 21, 13) Friday evening at UN's Devaney Center. It was the second of three matches slated for th Flyers at the Huskers' Ameritas Players Challenge. Sophomore 
Alaina Turner paced UD with nine kills on the evening. With the win, Nebraska improves to 6-1 on the season while Dayton moves to 3-5 for the year.
	Sophomore Jenna Jendryk tallied 20 assists for the Flyers and sophomore Janna Krafka had a match-high 17 digs. Senior Megan Campbell was strong at the net for UD with five blocks in the match.
	The Flyers battled the Huskers in the early going as the two teams saw the set's sixth tie at 7-7. Nebraska reclaimed the lead on the next point but Dayton tied the frame again at 12-all. UN then used an 8-2 run to break open the set, going up 20-14, but UD was not to be counted out. The Huskers committed four straight attack errors to get the Flyers back in the game at 20-18, forcing UN into a time out.
	Senior Allyson Morey served out of the break and sophomore Angel Agu tallied a point for the Flyers with a kill. Nebraska earned side out at 21-19, and its 4-0 run gave UN set-point at 24-19. The Huskers eventually hung on for the 25-20 first-set win.
	Dayton got off to a fast start in the second set, jumping out to the quick 7-2 lead on Nebraska. The Huskers rallied with a 5-1 run to set the score at 8-7 but attacking errors continued to plague UN and UD went up again by four, 11-7.
	The frame was tied at 12-12 and both teams traded points and leads. A kill from Agu gave Dayton its last tie as Nebraska closed the second set with a 6-2 run taking the 25-21 set win and going up 2-0 in the match heading into intermission.
	Nebraska got up 3-1 on Dayton at the start of set three and controlled the lead for the entire frame. The Flyers cut the Husker advantage to three, 10-7, but then suffered three straight UN points. Dayton would get no closer than to within five the rest of the way and Nebraska closed out the match with an 8-1 run to take the third game, 25-13, and the match, 3-0.
	
	Kelsey Robinson led the Huskers with 12 kills and 17 digs for one of two Nebraska double-doubles. Amber Rolfzen had 10 kills and 13 digs for UN as well.
	
	The Flyers will return to action Saturday evening with a 5:30 p.m. match against Saint Mary's to close out the Ameritas Players Challenge. Listen to live audio from the match here.
