FAIRFAX STATION, Va. – The University of Dayton took seventh place at the 2014 Atlantic 10 Rowing Championship Sunday on the Occoquan Reservoir at Sandy Run Regional Park. 

The Flyers advanced to the grand final in the Varsity 8+ and took fifth place in the final race of the championship.  Senior Katelyn Reynolds was in this boat and named First Team All-Atlantic 10 for Dayton. The lineup for UD's V8+ was: Caitlin Ferris (coxswain), Allie Rogers, Reynolds, Alli Martie, Erin Mohney, McKay Rehwinkel, Emma Tokar, Kayla Contardi and Haley Murrell. 

Dayton's Second Varsity 8+ took second place in the petite final. That boat's lineup was:    Meghan Harden (coxswain), Mary Willard, Kathryn Speed, Alex Anain, Rosario Perez, Grace Hagan, Meghan Casey, Rachel Hock and Susie Klimowicz. 
The Flyers also took second in the petite final of the Varsity 4+. That boat consisted of: Jennifer Biggers (coxswain), Amanda Matney, Chloe Hollinden, Julie Wittmann and Madison Doty.

Dayton will close out its 2014 spring season at the Dad Vail Regatta May 9-10 in Philadelphia.
