MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TAKES 4TH PLACE AT FLYER 5K

Sophomore Kyle Lach Is Dayton's Top Finisher

KETTERING, Ohio -
The University of Dayton men's cross country team finished fourth at the annual Flyer 5K meijer Challenge Saturday at Indian Riffle Park with 109 team points.

Regionally-ranked Louisville and Ohio State took first and second place with 28 and 34 points, respectively. Miami came in third place with 79 points. Northern Kentucky was fifth with 136 points and Wright State was sixth with 182 points. 

Edwin Kibichiy of Louisville was first, individually in a time of 15:35. UD graduate Tyler Roeth 2014 took ninth place in a time of 16:01.

Sophomore Kyle Lach was UD's top finisher in 16th place in 16:13. Freshman Tyler Adgalanis was 21st for the Flyers in 16:18. Matthew Krakora was 29th in 16:24. Senior Michael Russell was not far behind in 31st in a time of 16:28. Alex Kuvin was 33rd, crossing the line in 16:30. Ethan Louis was 35th in 16:32. Freshman Michael George was 38th in 16:39.

Dayton is back in action next Friday, Sept. 5 at the Queen City Invitational in Cincinnati at 5 p.m.
