DAYTON HOSTS ROBERT MORRIS ON FAMILY WEEKEND

Lots Open For Tailgating At 11 A.M., Kickoff At 1 P.M.

Gabe Macis leads UD with 10 receptions in two games.
The University of Dayton football team returns home to Welcome Stadium to close out the non-conference portion of the schedule when the Flyers host Robert Morris.  Game time at Welcome Stadium is 1 p.m. ET.

The game is part of the University's Family Weekend festivities, and because of that gates to the parking lots at the Arena Sports Complex will not open until 11 a.m. ET.

Dayton is 1-1 on the season, while Robert Morris is 0-3 against a very strong schedule.

Rick Chamberlin is in his seventh season as UD's head coach (his 40th in the program as a player, assistant and head coach) and returns 14 starters (seven offense, five defense, two specialists) from last season.

UD is led by four First Team Preseason All-PFL selections – quarterback Will Bardo, defensive end Pat Dowd, running back Connor Kacsor and placekicker William Will.  Bardo and Dowd are the 2014 Flyer co-captains.

STREAKING
UD has not been shut out in a school-record 422 straight games, the best such active string in all of college football. The last team to shut out the Flyers was Marshall, 9-0, on Oct. 16, 1976. That is also the all-time FCS record.

SERIES STUFF
Dayton leads the series with RMU 14-2, and has won the last 11 meetings. The Flyers won 21-14 last year at Robert Morris on Sept. 14.  Branden Johnson caught six passes for 183 yards and two TD's in the win.  The last three meetings have been decided by a touchdown or less.
