DAYTON MEN’S TENNIS READY TO SPRING INTO ACTION

Box Score DAYTON, Ohio – As students prepare themselves for the spring semester, the University of Dayton men's tennis team is also preparing for a big weekend when it opens its spring season against the University of Kentucky Wildcats.
 
The match will take place on Thursday, Jan. 15 at 12pm in Lexington, Ky. at the Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Complex.
 
The UK men's tennis team is currently ranked 18th in the country and continues be a national contender every year.
 
Flyer head coach Ryan Meyer is excited to see how his Flyer squad performs in the upcoming match. "I am very much looking forward to competing against the Wildcats," said Meyer. "They are a great team and will give us a chance to compete against a national contender. "
 
The team and Coach Meyer feel confident about their upcoming spring season after coming off a successful fall season with some big tournament wins.
 
"Our guys had a great fall and have continued to improve upon their individual talents," said Meyer. "Now it's time to transfer that work into wins."
 
The Flyer men will continue their opening weekend when they play IUPUI on Jan. 17 at 5:30pm and Butler on Jan. 18 at 3pm.
