#UDWSOC CONTINUES A-10 PLAY VS. DAVIDSON THURSDAY

Flyers Host the Wildcats at Baujan Field at 7:30 p.m.

The University of Dayton women's soccer team (4-7-0, 2-0-0 A-10) hosts Davidson (4-7-0, 0-2-0 A-10) at Baujan Field this Thursday, Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

THE SERIES
• Dayton has won both prior meetings between the two teams.
• The teams haven't played each other since 1993, when the Flyers won 4-2.
• The Flyers also scored four goals in the first meeting between the teams, a 4-1 victory on Oct. 24, 1992. 
• This is the first time the teams have played each other as members of the A-10.

FLYER FACTS
•  Mike Tucker is in his 21st season as head coach of the Flyers in 2015. He has an overall record of 298-112-29.
• Senior Ashley Campbell is tied for second on UD's all time scoring list with 52 career goals. She needs six more goals to tie for first. 
• Senior Nicole Waters holds the UD single-season assists record. Her 43 career assists are tied for second on UD's all-time Top 10 list.

BELIEVIN' IN BAUJAN 
•  The Flyers are 211-61-20 all-time in games played at Baujan Field. UD owns a .757 winning percentage in those matches.  In the last six years, Dayton is 54-9-5 at home, an astounding .843 winning percentage at Baujan. 

A-10 PRESEASON HONORS
• For the seventh consecutive year, the Dayton women's soccer team has been chosen as the Atlantic 10 Conference preseason favorite in a vote conducted by the league's 14 head coaches. Dayton (12-9-2; 5-2-1 A-10) returns a bulk of its starting lineup, including  2013 Offensive Player of the Year, Ashley Campbell, 2014 Midfielder of the Year, Nicole Waters, 2014 Most Outstanding Player (Championship) Erin O'Malley, and a pair of All-Rookie selections in Alexis Kiehl and Nicolette Griesinger, all of whom were named to the A-10 Preseason All-Conference Team. The Flyers aim to defend their A-10 Championship and add a fifth title in seven years.

FLYER SUCCESS 
•  The Dayton women's soccer program owns an overall record of 422-179-46 since it became a varsity program in 1984. 
•  The Flyers made NCAA Tournament Appearances in 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2014, advancing to the second round in both 2009 and 2010 and to the Sweet Sixteen in 2001.

SCOUTING DAVIDSON
• Davidson is led by coach Greg Ashton. His record at Davidson is 110-99-27. This year, the Wildcats have a record of 4-7-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the A-10. Most recently, the Wildcats lost at La Salle 1-0.Vicky Bruce leads the team in points, assists and shots. Davidson has three different goalkeepers who have seen time in the net this season.

•  Dayton will travel to VCU in Richmond, Va. on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. ET and then La Salle on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. ET.
