VOLLEYBALL TO CLOSE OUT A-10 SCHEDULE AT SAINT LOUIS

Flyers and Billikens will Face Off on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET

DAYTON, Ohio - After winning two games in a row at home, Dayton volleyball travels to Saint Louis Saturday afternoon. With its 3-0 win against George Mason on Sunday, UD extended its active winning streak to 21 matches and will also put a perfect 13-0 Atlantic 10 mark on the line against SLU. Offensively, the Flyers are led by senior Alaina Turner with 4.18 kills/set (2nd A-10, 36th NCAA), sophomore Amber Erhahon with a .413 hitting percentage (1st A-10, 16th NCAA) and sophomore Jane Emmenecker with 9.94 assists/set (6th A-10). On the defensive side, Erhahon leads the team with 1.33 blocks/set (2nd A-10) and senior Janna Krafka passes 4.15 digs/set (3rd A-10).

About Saint Louis
Just one spot behind Dayton in the Atlantic 10 standings, Saint Louis is 19-8 overall and holds a 10-3 mark in league action. The Billikens went 2-0 in a pair of matches last weekend. The Bills defeated George Mason 3-1 on Nov. 6 and George Washington 3-0 on Nov. 8. SLU is led by Danielle Rygelski with 4.20 kills/set (1st A-10) and Meredith Boe sets 10.28 assists/set (3rd A-10). On the defensive side, Nicole Sniffen records 1.06 blocks/set and Mackenzie Long gets under 3.37 digs/set (7th A-10).

Series Stuff
There have been 43 meetings in the series between Dayton and Saint Louis, dating back to three wins for the Flyers in 1978. UD holds a 27-16 advantage over SLU and the two last squared off on Oct. 24 at Dayton as the Flyers claimed a 3-1 win. The Flyers have won the last four and 12 of the last 13 matches between the two programs.

Dayton heads into Saturday's match holding a Rating Percentage Index (RPI) ranking of 35 according to ncaa.com. Saint Louis comes in with a RPI of 70.

• Tim Horsmon is in his seventh season overall, and second since 2007, as head coach of the Flyers in 2015. His record at Dayton is 180-54 and his career win-loss mark sits at 356-218 in 17 seasons as a head coach.

The Flyers have won the A-10 Championship title a league-record nine times (2014, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2005, 2004, 2003) and made their 10th NCAA appearance in program history in 2014.
