FLYERS HOST ALABAMA IN ESPN TIP-OFF MARATHON GAME
• The University of Dayton Flyers host the Alabama Crimson Tide on Tuesday with a special 1 p.m. ET tip.
• The game will be carried by ESPN and is available with live streaming video, audio and stats at DaytonFlyers.com.

ABOUT ALABAMA
• The Alabama Crimson Tide are 1-0, coming off a 77-64 win over Kennesaw State.
• First-year coach Avery Johnson returns six letterwinners and three starters from last year's 19-15 team that reached the NIT second round.
• Junior Shannon Hale returns as the team's top scorer after averaging 8.2 points per game last season. Hale scored 13 in the opener against Kennesaw State.

SERIES STUFF
• Dayton leads the all-time series 2-1.
• The Flyers won the last meeting, 81-76, at Alabama on Dec. 5, 2012.

FLYERS PICKED NO. 1 IN A-10 PRESEASON POLL
• Dayton was picked to finish first in the 2015-16 Atlantic 10 Conference preseason poll.
• Leading UD will be preseason third-team All-Atlantic 10 selection Kendall Pollard, the 2015 A-10 Chris Daniels Most Improved Player Award winner.

JUBILANT JUNIORS
• The junior class of Kyle Davis, Scoochie Smith and Kendall Pollard are on pace to be the winningest in UD history.
• The trio have 55 victories in the first 74 games, one win ahead of the pace with the Class of 2011 (Chris Wright, Devin Searcy, Peter Zesterman and Logan Nourse).
• The Class of 2011 finished with 97 wins.

CONQUERING GOLIATH
• UD has been powerful against the power conferences. Dayton is 26-11 in the last eight years against the power five programs.
• Dayton's 26 victories have come against Ole Miss (five times), Georgia Tech (three times), Alabama, Boston College and Auburn (all twice), Texas A&M, Stanford, Syracuse, Ohio State, California, North Carolina, Minnesota, Illinois, Louisville, West Virginia, Wake Forest and Pittsburgh.
• In exempt tournaments under coach Archie Miller, Dayton is 7-2 against the power five conferences. Miller is 8-3 overall in exempts.
• The Flyers have won the last seven against the ACC and 10 of the last 13 versus the SEC.
• The Flyers have won 11 of the last 14 games against BIG EAST opponents.

HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS
• Dayton possesses a 23-game home winning streak.
• It's currently the ninth-longest home winning streak in the NCAA.
• The 23-game home win streak is also the second-longest in school history, behind the 30 straight victories from 2008-2010.
• The Flyers finished 17-0 at home last season.
• It was only the fourth time in the program's history UD went undefeated at home. The other years are 1949-50, 1959-60 and 2008-09.
• UD is 54-12 at home under coach Archie Miller.

OPENING NIGHT NOTES
• Freshman Ryan Mikesell scored 21 points in UD's season opener. That marks the third highest point total by a freshman in his debut in Dayton basketball history.
• Marcus Johnson 23 points in his debut in 2006 and Chris Wright's 22 points in 2007 are the only two marks to top Mikesell's performance.
• The win marked Dayton's 11th consecutive victory in home openers and its 23rd straight overall at UD Arena.

• Dayton finishes its three-game homestand by hosting the William & Mary Tribe on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. ET.
