INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA announced the bracket for the Division I men's soccer tournament on Monday and has the University of Dayton staying at home to host Oakland on Thursday, Nov. 19.
This is the first time the University of Dayton will host an NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament game at Baujan Field.
The Flyers finished the season with a 13-5-3 record overall and an Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship. The 4-1 win over VCU on Sunday clinched an automatic berth for Dayton, the second in program history.
Oakland went 10-8-1 on the season and repeated as Horizon League Champion after their 1-0 win over Wright State in the final. Earlier in the year, the Grizzlies picked up a 2-0 win over the Flyers in Dayton, but following that, UD went unbeaten in 10 of the next 11 games.
The game time will be announced later.
