Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Dayton Flyers' season ended on Sunday afternoon, as the Ohio State Buckeyes advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament on penalty kicks, 4-3.
The game had been tied 1-1 after two overtime periods. Dayton finishes the season at 13-5-5.
KEY STATS• This was the second straight overtime game for the Flyers and seventh of the year.
• It was also the fourth double overtime game of the year and the second straight game that went to penalty kicks.

Justin Saliba made a huge save on a penalty kick in the sixth minute to keep the game tied at zero.
• In the seventh minute,
Kissima Bojang nearly put Dayton up a goal, but his attempt was saved by the Ohio State goalkeeper,
Chris Froschauer.
• Ohio State also had a great opportunity to score in the 40
th Minute. Jacob Duska's shot hit the bottom part of the post and bounced near the goal line, but Dayton was able to clear the attempt.

Amass Amankona's shot in the 102
nd minute nearly gave Dayton the win, but it hit the crossbar.
• Each team had six shots in the first and second halves.
• Saliba recorded four saves in the contest.
• Dayton had seven corner kicks, compared to six for Ohio State.
• The Flyers had eight shots on goal, while the Buckeyes had five during the game.
