DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's basketball team will be in action at UD Arena Friday night for its only exhibition contest of the season against Gannon. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and admission for the exhibition. Fans will be able to pick up 2015-16 schedule posters, cards and magnets from the marketing table.

Jim Jabir is in his 13th season (238-140) at the helm of the Dayton women's team in 2015-16. He was named the eighth head coach, and first male, in the history of the program on April 8, 2003. Jabir holds a career record of 458-363 over 28 seasons.

A Different Look - New Rules for 2015-16• Games will be played in four 10-minute quarters (changed from two 20-minute halves)
• Teams will now reach the bonus and shoot two free throws on the 5th team foul in each quarter (changed from one-and-one bonus on the 7th team foul of each half and reached the double bonus (two shots) on the 10th team foul)
• Team fouls reset at the start of each period, but fourth quarter fouls will carry over into overtime
• In the final 59.9 seconds of the fourth quarter and overtime, the ball can be advanced to be inbounded from the front court following a timeout
