She batted .500 for the week, collecting six hits with a .583 slugging percentage and .500 on base percentage.

Two weeks later freshman Manda Cash was credited the same accolade.  Cash made four appearances in the second weekend of play, where she pitched 11.2 innings, fanned 15, walked four, and allowed three earned runs.  She pitched her first complete game as a Flyer, leading Dayton to a 3-1 victory over Georgia Southern.  Cash struck out six, walked two, and allowed eight hits and one earned run against the Eagles.

Flyers Picked To Finish Fifth in Atlantic 10
According to the preseason poll conducted by the league's 10 head coaches, the Flyers were chosen to finish fifth in 2015.  The Flyers finished fifth in the conference in 2014.  Fordham was the unanimous selection to finish first.  The Rams were winners of three of the last four A-10 Championships.
