DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's basketball team will be making its sixth-consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament Friday. The seventh-seeded Flyers will square off against No. 10 Iowa State on March 20 at Kentucky's Memorial Coliseum in the NCAA First Round. Tip-off is set for 12 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast on ESPN2.

The winning team will advance to play the winner of the other game, (2) Kentucky vs. (15) Tennessee State, on Sunday.

Dayton finished the Atlantic 10 Conference season with a 14-2 mark and are currently 25-6 overall. The Flyers advanced to the finals of the 2015 Atlantic 10 Championship, falling to regular season champs George Washington in the title contest.

Iowa State (18-12, 9-9 Big 12) lost its last two games of the season including a 67-58 loss to Oklahoma State in the first round of the Big 12 Championship.
