Box Score 2 CLEARWATER, Fla. – The University of Dayton softball team (7-8) grabbed two victories on the first day of play in the USF Under Armour Showcase. The Flyers defeated Western Michigan in game one and Wagner College in game two. Game two was delayed in the afternoon due to rain and completed Friday evening.
Game 1 Box Score Dayton 4 Western Michigan 1Gabrielle Snyder was credited with the win for the Flyers in game one. She pitched a complete game against the Broncos giving up five hits, fanning one and walking none.

Natalie Mariano went 4-for-8 at the plate in both games racking up a triple and a double. Freshman
Jaclyn Kweder went 5-for-8 with 2 RBI over both games.

Kathryn Hess went 3-for-3 against the Seahawks.
Kayla English pitched a complete game, a shutout, with nine strikeouts and two walks.
The Flyers are back in action Saturday when they take on Penn and Robert Morris in day two of the USF Under Armour Showcase in Clearwater, Florida.
