DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's golf team will compete against 16 teams in the Ball State Cardinal Classic beginning on Monday, Sept. 21 and concluding on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at The Players Club at Woodland Trails in Yorktown, Ind.

The Players Club consists of 54 holes (par 72) totaling 6,204 yards. Participants will play 36 holes on Monday beginning at 8:30 a.m. and 18 holes on Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m.

Other teams in the competition include Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Cleveland State, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Indiana State, IPFW, IUPUI, Northern Illinois, Northern Kentucky, Oakland, Ohio, Western Illinois, Western Michigan and Xavier.

The Flyers are coming off a loss to NKU in the Northern Kentucky Collegiate Classic last Sunday and Monday, but are ready to give it their all in this upcoming match.

Ball State has hosted this tournament every year but one since its 2001-02 season. In past years the tournament has been a 36-hole event, but this year the tournament will feature 54 holes. Eastern Michigan won the tournament during the 2014-15 second and Western Michigan placed second.
