DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton softball team will be forced to wait another week to open the 2016 season, as the Campbell University Invitational schedule has been altered due to inclement weather in the forecast.

With the change in schedule, the Flyers are no longer able to participate.

Dayton, who is coming off its best season in program history in 2015, will now open up the 2016 campaign at the Chattanooga Spring Classic where the Flyers will play five games over a three-day span. Their opponents will include Chattanooga, UT Martin, IPFW, Wright State, and Detroit.
