Box Score DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton softball team locked in an offensive struggle against nearby foe Wright state University on Tuesday evening, falling 2-0 at the hands of the Raiders at UD Softball Stadium.
Scoring BreakdownTop 5th – After a leadoff walk, the Flyers committed a crucial two-base error that set the Raiders up with runners at second and third and nobody out. WSU got a sacrifice fly and an infield single to build what would be an insurmountable 2-0 lead.

Aspyn Novak went 2-for-3 in the game, giving the rookie her second two-hit game of the season.
Those two hits from Novak were the only two of the game for Dayton.

Manda Cash was strong in the circle once again for the Flyers, striking out eight while not allowing an earned run in seven innings of work.
